Support Services

Maintenance Support Service
Every business should be aware of the working hours that are lost by having to deal with the property-related problems of their working environment. Modern workplaces need continual maintenance and repair. This upkeep, combined with the requirement to comply with health and safety regulations, puts a considerable burden on every business. It is a disruptive and time-consuming process.

Often the nature of the tasks involve mending a broken window, unblocking a drain, checking electrical appliances etc are out of all proportion to the time it takes to find someone to do the work and then to administer payment for it.

In response to this situation, Oaktree Partnership has developed a Maintenance Support Service, a service that helps customers comply with all relevant regulations and also takes the aggravation out of maintenance and repair.

In order to establish your needs, Oaktree evaluates your working environment and your responsibilities under the terms of your agreement before recommending an appropriate level of service.

Maintenance support is available either as an annual agreement payable monthly covering agreed areas of service or simply as a “Call-Out” arrangement under which customers can call upon our service teams to carry out repairs and small projects at pre-agreed rates.

The service provides you with peace of mind and reassurance that all your premises requirements are available as and when you need them. No more time spent phoning round for quotes and trying to find a tradesperson who does quality work.

Planned Preventative Maintenance
Planned preventative maintenance reduces the risk of business interruption. Oaktree can plan and implement a cost-effective maintenance programme to meet your workplace support needs.

Reactive “Call-Out” Support
When you need immediate maintenance help in the workplace - broken windows, blocked drains, blown circuits etc - Oaktree provide five-day-a-week “Call-Out” support which puts specialist help just a phone call away.

Small Work Projects
Businesses often need to make minor alterations to their property. Oaktree’s skilled teams can carry out small building projects and refurbishment works at competitive prices.

Maintenance Support Service
Oaktree Partnership with their maintenance professionals assess the tasks required to maintain your facility in good order compiling a schedule of activities. We do this at the time we are discussing your building requirements.

The schedule is then priced and a priority given to each activity recognising those assets critical to your business and legislative compliance. Using competitive rates, we will provide you with a proposal for your agreement. Once the proposal is agreed we will put the service in place, making sure that the necessary work is carried out in as unobtrusive a way as possible so you can concentrate on running your business.

Oaktree Business Watch

How it works
Oaktree Partnership acts as a point of contact between the business units and the police providing an effective communication partnership and building a safer environment for businesses to prosper. Information is given to Oaktree Partnership via email from police sources, which is passed to all business units to forewarn businesses of criminal activity and the measures recommended to combat any threat to the business.

Benefits
Fast and accurate information on criminal activity and crime prevention advice is passed to all members to enable them to take measures to ensure the security of their business and staff.

Free police crime prevention surveys of your premises are available with a written report of advice and recommendation plus advice on attack-tested products for most security problems (contact for Breckland area phone 01842 222605 and for South Norfolk/Norwich 01953 424242).

Property security marking of office and business equipment plus the use of effective signage is a major deterrent to burglary and criminal damage. Marking equipment and signs are inexpensive and can be provided upon request.

The support of neighbouring businesses will encourage better crime prevention awareness amongst the group and will build an effective partnership with the police and their support staff.

Insurance premiums may be reduced by being a member of Business Watch.

Remember, 80% of all crime is opportunist. Don’t be complacent; don’t give them the opportunity and avoid being a victim.

Communication
Police Emergency call 999
For all other reports or requests contact (Wymondham HQ central switch board) 01953 424242.When reporting a crime ask for your crime number (For your or insurance follow up). When reporting other incidents ask for the CAD number (Computer Aided Dispatch), which will enable you to quickly give follow-up additional information or find out if there has been any successful outcome.

Report ALL incidents to the police because:

  • All reports are recorded and subsequent analysis may help to show a pattern of crime, which could lead to the arrest of offenders.
  • The accumulation of reports can demonstrate to police managers that there is a need for timely and specifically targeted police action
  • You may have information that could be used to secure anti-social behaviour orders (ASBOs) against offenders. Evidential requirements are less than for court appearances, the order can contain all sorts of restrictions on the offender. A breach of an ASBO is arrestable and could lead to imprisonment.
  • Each member of the group is responsible for reporting directly to the police as soon as possible, but after reporting to the police your management team co-ordinator must always be advised so he or she is aware of the incident.
